525 Pounds of Charity

During the last month, Wilber's Beth Gill and Deana Ratliff took on the task of organizing a food drive for the Home Sweet Home Mission in Bloomington Illinois; an organization that has been "Serving the homeless and hungry with Christ's love in Bloomington, Illinois since 1917."

Employees were incented to bring in non-perishable good in exchange for some of Beth's amazing home made desserts! Every Monday morning was a mad dash to Beth's office to drop off donations and snag some of the sweet treats which helped to take the edge off those early Monday mornings.

After all was said and done, the employees of Wilber were able to gather and donate a total of 525 pounds of groceries to the homeless and hungry in the twin cities. Deana's only comment to conclude the food drive was, "I hope we can do this again for Christmas!"
